Bake ‘n Switch

Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Bake ‘n Switch on the Nintendo Switch. This party game is for two to four family members at the same time. In fact you are not allowed to play Bake ‘n Switch solo at all. Families can play Bake ‘n Switch offline or online. If you play online you need to play with friends. I found no lobby matching of solo players wanting to play with others.

Bake ‘n Switch has nice music and decent little graphics. What we do in Bake ‘n Switch is pretty simple. We collect and merge these dough creatures and throw them into the oven. We can pick from six different bakers in Bake ‘n Switch. There are two worlds in Bake ‘n Switch. Those two worlds are Tropic Toaster, and Serradurra. There are seven different buns we work with in Bake ‘n Switch. Two bosses await players in Bake ‘n Switch.

I learned a smart strategy for Bake ‘n Switch really fast on. We must collect as many of the doughs as we can. Max them out before throwing them into the oven. Coop mode is better than competitive mode in my opinion because family members can work together to get a high score. Why does a high score matter in Bake ‘n Switch? The more points you get the more stars you get. Stars are needed to unlock additional areas in the game.

There are twelve obnoxious enemies in Bake ‘n Switch. We must punch them away from our dough or they will eat it. Which makes maxing the dough out even harder. Each of the one hundreds levels in Bake ‘n Switch are timed. We only have so much time to get those large dough counts in the oven before we lose the opportunity. Bake ‘n Switch taught me to be quick, efficient, and plan my moves accordingly.

In terms of challenge and level design Bake ‘n Switch reminds me of Overcooked. Families can have some fun playing Bake ‘n Switch on the Nintendo Switch. We certainly did here at Family Friendly Gaming. Levels in Bake ‘n Switch can be replayed to get a higher score. That only matters if you are trying to get more stars. It was an honor to play and review Bake ‘n Switch on the Nintendo Switch.
