Billion Road

If you have been watching our FFG Reacts
videos or live streams on our Youtube channel then you know all about
Billion Road. You also know about our reaction to this game. We reached
out to the publisher acttil and requested a reviewable copy of this
game. I am very thankful we were provided a digital download code for
Billion Road on the Nintendo Switch. I hope a physical copy version of
this game is released in the future.

Billion Road is about going around Japan investing in businesses,
collecting monsters, getting to goals, and making the most money.
Billion Road is a one gig download. There are a variety of computer
characters we can play against in Billion Road. One of them is a magical
girl that uses her powers to help her win. The graphics in Billion Road
are done in a cutesy style. The music is neat to listen to in this
		digital board game.

The monsters in Billion Road are where the strategy comes into play.
They grant the player a variety of skills. Some examples are a second
roll of the dice if you do not like your first roll, more money, and
more. Players may keep three monsters with them at all times. Certain
instances will force the players to change monsters. The monsters only
have so many skill usages before they need to be recharged via certain
squares, items or other in game events.

Getting to the goals in Billion Road can be very challenging. Why is
that? We must land on that space exactly. Say the space is one away and
you roll a four. You go right past it and are now three away in the
other direction. Thankfully Billion Road gives players enough time to
get it right eventually. See we play Billion Road for years. That means
each turn is a month in the calendar. The shortest game families can
pick is three years. That means thirty-six turns.

Many of the beginning monsters when I played were cat like characters.
Billion Road lets players go deep in debt. When a player starts to lose
money they must sell their properties to pay off the debt. That means
those properties won’t be earning for the player anymore. I enjoyed my
time with Billion Road. This is a quirky Japanese board game in the
digital world that includes enough chance and skill to be fun for years
		to come.
