Cooking Simulator

I am very happy Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital downloadable code for Cooking Simulator on the Nintendo Switch. This game is exactly like it sounds. We get in the kitchen and handle all of the cooking. We must purchase the equipment, food, spices, and everything else associated with what we need in the kitchen. This can be small things like a spatula, cutting board, and knives. We purchase things by going to them, or a cardboard box.

Cooking Simulator is very realistic looking. The tutorial is extremely helpful in understanding what needs to be done to play this game. There is a Sandbox mode if you want to play and play. There are over sixty dishes to cook in Cooking Simulator. I love how we go to the laptop to get recipes in Cooking Simulator. We then follow the directions step by step to make the dish for the customer. I felt like Cooking Simulator is a bit of a Chef Simulator.

The only issue or problem I had with Cooking Simulator is the controls. It feels like Cooking Simulator was originally setup for the Personal Computer (PC). The cursor we use in Cooking Simulator can be a bit touchy in terms of trying to highlight a specific object we need to pick up. The timers in Cooking Simulator will annoy you. That is a good thing because we need to get the fish out of the oven so that obnoxious sound makes perfect sense.

Cooking Simulator is a 1.3 gig download, so make sure your Nintendo Switch has enough memory to download Cooking Simulator. I did not find any information on a physical copy of Cooking Simulator on the Nintendo Switch in the United States at this time. I hope Cooking Simulator gets a physical copy because the artwork in this game is fantastic. How much we season something can be hard to figure out in Cooking Simulator. I wish there was a gauge to know.

I like what Forever Entertainment was going for with Cooking Simulator. It is a very educational game on how to run a kitchen at a restaurant and what kinds of things are needed to be a success. I hope there are more games like Cooking Simulator in the future. It was a pleasure for me to play and review Cooking Simulator on the Nintendo Switch. What are you waiting for? Time to get cooking.
