Fairy Tail Collection Two

I continued my exploration of Fairy Tail with Fairy Tail Collection Two on Blu-ray and DVD. The package came with both and was cheaper than DVD by itself, or Blu-ray by itself. Go figure. I am thankful we had enough money to purchase Fairy Tail Collection Two. I can’t remember if I bought this or it was a gift. Either way it was interesting to see where this franchise went.

We run into a guild war in Fairy Tail Collection Two. Two guilds battle it out and there are consequences since guilds are not supposed to go to war. We also find out about the past of some more characters in Fairy Tail Collection Two. The Fairy Tail guild must then fight one another to determine the strongest thanks to the return of a guild member (Laxus) who has been gone for some time.

The issues families will have with Fairy Tail Collection Two are violence, magic, enticement to lust, lack of attire, bad language, pro-gambling, anti-God, demonic powers being used, blood, and more. The fights become very predictable in Fairy Tail Collection Two. Natsu emerges as a major hero in the guild in Fairy Tail Collection Two. He is the typical plucky yet dim witted Japanese hero.

The music and voice acting are fantastic in Fairy Tail Collection Two. The animations are usually very nicely done. It took me six hundred minutes to get through the twenty-four episodes on Fairy Tail Collection Two. I did not enjoy Fairy Tail Collection Two as much as I did Fairy Tail Collection One. More guild members are shown in Fairy Tail Collection Two, but many of their powers are lame.

I will probably come back to this franchise at some point in the future. For now I have plenty of other television shows to get through. Fairy Tail Collection Two takes the show into a more violent direction. The objectification of women continues in Fairy Tail Collection Two. The leader of the guild is shown as more frail in Fairy Tail Collection Two. How much longer will he survive?
