High Score
SCORE: 58
Some in PR and Marketing let me know about
High Score on Netflix and even offered an early screening of the
product. I agreed to check it out. Then I did not hear back about it. I
happened to remember this show while looking for something to watch. In
some regards I really regret watching this show. I will get into that in
this review in a bit. Ultimately High Score did not impress me very very
much. It started cool and declined very quickly.
The issues families will have with High Score are violence, blood, gore,
lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, promotes Eastern
religious beliefs, hate speech against Christians, hate speech against
conservatives, promotes gender confusion, promotes sexual deviancy and
more. High Score really glorifies blood, gore and violence. This is a
shame. Mortal Kombat and Doom are a black eye on the industry.
I find it funny when some people try and claim slippery slope has no
merit. Then they actually admit things got worse and make games like
Night Trap look tame. Things got worse in the industry. Meaning everyone
screaming slippery slope was right. Yet shows like High Score do not
even acknowledge that reality. They attack leaders who had a problem
with the blood, gore and violence and fail to acknowledge they were
right. Very selective editing in High Score.
High Score ignores some major important historical facts and past from
High Score. They do have some interesting things like how Star Fox was
created, and Channel F. They can't keep it historical though as High
Score gives radical far left opinions right after that. The same with
Madden changing the color of the players. There was some aspects of that
story that have nothing to do with it, and are dubious at best.
I am thankful High Score ended after six episodes. The show was getting
worse and worse in terms of the radicalization and fanboy nature. The
best way to describe High Score is hardcore haters gave their radical
slant on the industry and a few pieces of interesting information are
thrown in there here and there. Where are the references to Christian
video games? What about Christians being attacked and marginalized in
the video game industry?
