My Sims

Did you enjoy my video series gameplay walkthrough of My Sims on the Wii? I enjoyed playing this game from start to finish. We invite Sims to live in our town, and then we do things for me. Mainly we collect materials and build something for them. What kinds of things do we generally build in My Sims? We usually build some kind of furniture. We also build the buildings.

As we complete these quests for the different characters we earn points on a bar. Once we build the bar up we get a star. Get five stars and you get the game ending credits. My Sims can still be played long after that though. We can decorate our house, give Sims gifts, and more. We plant, harvest, and chop trees down in My Sims. This home console video game pushed the Wii to its limits.

I ran into a few lag issues, and glitches while playing My Sims on the Wii. The used disc I purchased had quite a few scratches on it. I am not sure if that is part of the lag issues or not. To me it feels like the Wii was just barely able to play My Sims on the Wii. Placing items when building the furniture can be a pain at times since it might auto lock onto the wrong spot.

We can be nice or mean to Sims. These produce different essences that are needed in building items. We also collect a variety of items from different places in the game. My Sims has ghosts, ghouls, vampires and more. Some of them can be disturbing to younger viewers. The Sims that follow this kind of life style can be kicked out of your town though.

I feel like I got my money’s worth out of My Sims on the Wii. I love helping others and building things up. My Sims has this in abundance. I can forgive quirks like having to sleep before someone new appears in the hotel. The spiritual stuff could have been left out of the game in my personal opinion. A church and pastor would have been great to see in My Sims.
