New Gundam Breaker
SCORE: 53
I need to show my appreciation to Family
Friendly Gaming for purchasing a copy of New Gundam Breaker on the
Playstation 4. This mess of a video game is also on the Personal
Computer (PC). So much of New Gundam Breaker makes little to no sense to
me. This game feels half done at best. It also feels like things were
thrown together that makes no sense.
The problems families will have with New Gundam Breaker are violence,
bad language, and more. The voices are in Japanese, and the font is hard
to read on the background box. We also have to agree to all of their
terms with no feedback allowed. We are a transfer student at the Gunpa
High School (GHS). Reading the story gets old very fast in New Gundam
Breaker.
We go on team missions in New Gundam Breaker. There are three mech on
our team, and three mechs on the opposing team. Which would be fine
except there are also other mechs that we must battle. The action gets
confusing very fast. Take too much damage and parts start falling off
your mech. We must also pick them up when we destroy other mechs. I kept
filling up my queue with parts and then get a mission to collect so many
parts.
The modes in New Gundam Breaker are Setup Mode, Single Mode, Multi Mode,
Library Mode, and Settings. The collection of parts in New Gundam
Breaker feels meaningless to me. Why? Because we can get parts knocked
off our mech so easily. What is the point of building an awesome mech
when you will lose the cool parts and have to pick up new ones every
single battle?
The story parts in New Gundam Breaker are typical overused and boring
Japanese story points that we have outgrown. They can be skipped so you
can get into the confusing battles. The graphics are okay, and the music
is also okay. I value New Gundam Breaker at five dollars brand new. New
Gundam Breaker is a rental at best in my opinion. I would actually say
avoid this game.
