Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall
SCORE: 76
I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming
was given a retail copy of Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall on DVD. There are six
episodes on this disc. Three of the episodes on Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall
are about Thanksgiving, and three are about Halloween. It takes one hour
and fifty-four minutes to watch the six episodes on the Nick Jr.
Fantastic Fall DVD disc. There are five different franchises represented
on Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall.
The episodes on the Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall DVD disc are PAW Patrol:
Pups Save Thanksgiving, Blue’s Clues & You!: Spooky Costume Party with
Blue, Blue’s Clues & You!: Thankful with Blue, Blaze and the Monster
Machines: Truck or Treat!, Bubble Guppies: Trick-or-Treat, Mr.
Grumpfish!, and Butterbean’s Café: Fairy Happy Thanksgiving! I am
familiar with most of the shows on Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall.
The lessons kids can learn from Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall are help others,
give thanks, be happy, counting, comparing, face your fears, sing songs,
shadows, light, cooking, ingredients, scary things are funny and more.
Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall gives a tutorial on Halloween. There is sort of
a tutorial on Thanksgiving in Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall. Ghosts, zombies,
vampires, and other horror creatures are covered in Nick Jr. Fantastic
Fall.
I like the concept of Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall. Families can sample
multiple different franchises and see shows they may not normally watch.
I rank the shows on Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall in this order: Paw Patrol,
Blaze and the Monster Machines, Blue’s Clues & You, Bubble Guppies, and
Butterbean’s Cafe. Bubble Guppies has more singing than most of the
other shows. Blue’s Clues & You follows the find a clue process. It
would neat if they shook it up for special episodes like this one.
I really hope there is a Christmas based version of this DVD. Every time
someone on Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall said: “Halloween is my favorite
holiday,” I would say: “Christmas is mine.” I liked the grumpy character
at first that was against Halloween. They had to “bring him around” to
their way of thinking in Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall. The same is done for a
character that did not like Thanksgiving. The origins of these holidays
were not addressed in Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall.
