Ninjabread Man

I was so excited to find and purchase Ninjabread Man for $4.95 on the Wii. I looked forward to an amazing video series on this home console candy land video game. Then I played Ninjabread Man on the Wii. This game is horrible. If you watched my videos on Youtube then you know this.

Ninjabread Man is poorly designed, poorly executed, and poorly done. There are annoying glitches, and the sword attack does not work right on the Wii. The only way to progress is to throw ninja stars. There is a button that does that attack. I forget which button right now (C or Z probably). The saving grace for Ninjabread Man is it is an extremely short video game. Which makes me wonder if I got my five dollars worth out of this game or not.

I found how easy it is to die in Ninjabread Man. That is when the glitches did not give me a headache or send me to my doom. The spinning camera is a special thing in Ninjabread Man indeed. Please note that spinning camera can make the player extremely ill.

We have an arrow in Ninjabread Man that shows us where to go to the next objective. These stay the same in each and every single level of Ninjabread Man. There are a few minor parkour moments in Ninjabread Man that made me almost happy. That was as long as the camera did not decide to swing while I was jumping between small platforms. Ninjabread Man can cause real world anger and rage.

Ninjabread Man is one of those games that dashed my hopes and dreams. I suppose the videos of Ninjabread Man may be doing well on Youtube. That is my one saving grace. I recommend families pass on Ninjabread Man. This martial arts cookie video game is bad on so many levels. Don’t believe me? Please click here.
