Primeval Volume One
SCORE: 63
There are a variety of television shows
that await my attention. Primeval Volume One is one such show. I was
curious about this BBC show so I started watching the four DVD disc set.
Primeval Volume One is odd in some ways and interesting in others. There
are these anomalies that go back to the past and future. What is causing
them? Primeval Volume One does not answer that question. There is a
professor who lost his wife eight years ago. SPOILER ALERT! She has been
traveling the anomalies.
There is a genuine distrust of the government in Primeval Volume One
since they are covering up all these stories of dinosaurs coming into
the modern era. At times Primeval Volume One feels like a horror show.
The issues families can have with Primeval Volume One are violence,
blood, death, lack of attire, enticement to lust, sex outside of
marriage, adultery, and more. Primeval Volume One promotes the Old Earth
theory as fact, and the religious belief of evolution.
We find out in Primeval Volume One that the timeline can be changed.
That leads to some interesting prospects. We don’t know what all changes
may have happened over the trips these characters have taken. A variety
of creatures are killed or detained in Primeval Volume One. How did that
damage the timeline? Primeval Volume One does not really let us know.
One character wants to mess with time in Primeval Volume One.
The relationships in Primeval Volume One are so bipolar. The professor
is happy his wife is back from the dead, albeit a bit cross with her for
being gone so long. Then he falls for someone else. Then he wants his
wife. Then he does not want her. That relationship is not the only
confusing one. There are two younger members of the team that are into
one another, not into one another, and then into one another again. It
gets so confusing in Primeval Volume One.
It takes 585 minutes to watch the thirteen episodes of Primeval Volume
One on DVD. Many of the monster hunts felt pointless to me. The special
effects must have looked good in their day. Now they are lacking
seriously. I do not think I will continue to check out this show anytime
soon. Primeval Volume One did not speak to me, and had way too many
confusing things happen. Why save your rival if you are evil?
