Reign of the Supermen

One of the constants we have in life is change. Gone is the Super Target I would go to and purchase DC Animated DVDs and Blu-rays. I now must go farther and to a much smaller store. This smaller store does not carry as much, and does not discount these items like the one that closed did. So I missed quite a few DC Animated movies over the last few years. Reign of the Supermen is one of those movies. I realized it recently and decided to purchase Reign of the Supermen on Blu-ray + DVD + Digital. I had to do this online because no one locally is carrying this movie anymore. I like to help my local economy. They are forcing me online by not carrying items I will purchase.

I am a bit dismayed at the failure in terms of the rating of Reign of the Supermen. The descriptors section is seriously missing some content. There is action, adventure violence in Reign of the Supermen. There is also blood, and bad language. The voice actors are generally pretty good in Reign of the Supermen. I do question the casting choices by many of the live action DC Comics movies. Reign of the Supermen decides to make Cat Grant black. Why?

Reign of the Supermen also decides to have a female president. Holly Weird is wanting to constantly push that after America rejected Hillary Clinton. She had the media, education, and entertainment industries all trying to get her elected. We the people did not want her as president. The people behind Reign of the Supermen obviously want to try and make fantasy their reality since they cannot handle reality.

Reign of the Supermen has four different Superman like characters in it. Okay three, and one Superboy. Reign of the Supermen parts with the comic books on a variety of points. As if Holly Weird has ever been accused of being accurate in much of anything. There is a really good four person Supermen fight that I enjoyed in Reign of the Supermen. We had a wonderful conversation here at Family Friendly Gaming about how Superman destroys all kinds of buildings.

SPOILER ALERT! The real Superman is none of the four on the front cover of Reign of the Supermen. I knew this from the comic books. I found it interesting how the story grew in Reign of the Supermen. The inclusion of the Justice League was pretty cool in Reign of the Supermen. I enjoyed the majority of Reign of the Supermen. Lex Luther is a great character in Reign of the Supermen. He really runs a lot of the movie.
