Santa’s Xmas Adventure

I love the Christmas season. I love focusing on the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ, and Easter is about his sacrifice and resurrection. With a name like Santa’s Xmas Adventure I did not expect much focusing on the true, real and genuine meaning of that day. I always roll my eyes when I hear Santa, or something trying to X out Christ. I let out a sigh when I started to play Santa’s Xmas Adventure because here was a missed opportunity to focus on reality instead of falseness.

Santa’s Xmas Adventure is a tile moving puzzle game where we must create a path from the entrance to the exit. No problem right? Well the paths on the tiles go different directions. The player must map these out perfectly. There are also three gifts in each of the levels in Gift Mode. Oh I forgot the three modes in Santa’s Xmas Adventure are Gift Mode, Classic Mode and Moving Mode. One hundred gifts must be found in Gift Mode to Unlock Classic Mode. Two hundred gifts are needed to unlock Moving Mode.

Santa’s Xmas Adventure looks like and app and sure enough it was. I love finding those things with simple research. The music in Santa’s Xmas Adventure is pleasant to listen to. We must avoid bunnies and snowmen in Santa’s Xmas Adventure. Yolanda was not happy about snowmen being evil in Santa’s Xmas Adventure. She is a big fan of snowmen so she never sees them as being bad. Something has to be bad. Not everyone will agree with that group being the bad guys.

There are over seven hundred levels in Santa’s Xmas Adventure. They start simple enough and get more difficult as the player progresses. Gifts can sometimes block the visual on the path. I learned which tiles did which things. Stole tiles are stuck in place in Santa’s Xmas Adventure and cannot be moved around. I was able easily swipe the tiles around with the Nintendo Switch undocked. When you play on the television screen movement is a bit slower.

I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Santa’s Xmas Adventure on the Nintendo Switch. There are physical cases of Santa’s Xmas Adventure on the Nintendo Switch with download codes in them. The front case of the Playstation 4 version does not reference this so my hope is there is a physical copy disc version of Santa’s Xmas Adventure on the PS4. Santa’s Xmas Adventure is only one hundred megs so it could easily fit on a physical copy version.
