Spacejacked
SCORE: 61
Family Friendly Gaming received a digital
download code for Spacejacked on the Nintendo Switch. This is an
interesting tower defense video game. We are in a space ship that is
being attacked by aliens. We place turrets down to fight off the enemy
invaders. We can also go to the different rooms and fight the aliens
with our character. How do we do that? Our character can shoot them. Be
careful as he has limited ammunition.
One of the strangest things about Spacejacked is we can change gravity
in terms of our character. We can walk on the ground or the ceiling. Why
is that important in Spacejacked? Some of the aliens like to hang out on
the ceiling. There is an item to protect in each of the rooms in
Spacejacked. Did I mention Spacejacked is presented in the 2D format?
The download size to Spacejacked is fifty-four megs. It did not break
the memory bank.
The issues families will have with Spacejacked is violence, bad
language, and more. If alcohol bothers you then know Spacejacked has
that as part of its content as well. The retro graphics remind me of
some 8-bit video games. The music in Spacejacked is okay. I was not
bothered by the music in Spacejacked. On the same token I am not going
around humming any of the music in Spacejacked either.
The modes in Spacejacked are Story, Endless, and Tutorial. We can play
Story in a near endless mode, or one that gives us time to plan our
moves. I learned that even with the planning mode I needed to be fast in
Spacejacked. There is a timer between waves. At first I was not fast
enough to get to the next room and place turrets before the space
enemies came again. I learned to get faster which is what Spacejacked
encourages.
Moving turrets is a nice feature in Spacejacked. I like the idea of
protecting all these rooms in a ship in Spacejacked. I wish Spacejacked
was not constantly trying to rush me to get things done faster.
Especially in the planned mode. I should have all the time I need to
move around with controls that can be confusing. Spacejacked then should
have waited for me to do things. Not all of us like to rush around all
the time.
