Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One

I have been holding off on trying Disney+ due to the lack of content. Plus we also have Amazon Prime, and Netflix. There is some stuff coming to Disney+ that interests me in the future. I will probably try it here and there to watch some things and then stop the service. Peter let me know that we could get a free month of Disney+ thanks to his Xbox Gamepass subscription. I heard Star Wars The Mandalorian had Season Two out so it was a good time to check this show out.

Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One is eight episodes long and the episodes range from thirty some minutes to forty some minutes. It did not take me and Noah long to breeze through Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One. To me Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One is one third of a season of a television show. Like one arc in a season with multiple story arcs. The length of Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One is on the disappointing side.

The issues families can have with Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One are blood, gore, death, violence, and more. Plenty of the enemies are vaporized so they just vanish entirely when shot. Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One feels more family friendly to me than many of the Star Wars movies. There is plenty of humor in Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One. Characters in Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One sacrifice for one another in wonderful ways.

I heard all about baby Yoda before starting Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One. I do not think technically that character is Yoda. He is a baby of that species. Maybe future seasons of this show will reveal what planet that species comes from. I am surprised characters in Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One have no clue what the force is or how it impacts this science fiction fantasy universe. Jedi are considered sorcerers that once existed.

The honor system employed by the Mandalorian makes little sense to me. He will kill some people but not others. These characters steal from him and he decimates them. Why didn’t he have better security on his space ship? Other characters double cross him, try to kill him, and leave him in a prison. He lets them live. Another mercenary just doing their job tries to capture him and he kills him. I could never figure out where his moral compass was in Star Wars The Mandalorian Season One. He did honorable things and dishonorable things.
