Stunt Race FX
SCORE: 74
I am so thankful for the wonderful reader
who told me about Stunt Race FX on the Super NES. I forgot about this
game when it originally came out. Stunt Race FX showed off the FX
rotation Nintendo was promoting in the 16-bit era. This racing game has
some quirks to it. It can still be fun. I learned to be careful getting
too close to walls since it slowed me down and damaged the vehicle. The
vehicles remind me of Auto B Good characters.
Stunt Race FX starts easy and gets progressively more difficult. I wish
there was more to do in this game. If I bought it new back in the day I
would have been disappointed with the amount of content found within
Stunt Race FX on the Super NES. Stunt Race FX looks decent for its era,
and sounds okay.
Stunt Race FX shows Nintendo has tried different things across the
decades. We can run into other vehicles, and run into the walls. Stunt
Race FX discourages both behaviors. I enjoyed my time playing Stunt Race
FX on the Super NES. I hope to see this franchise return at some point
in the form of a sequel. I think families can get behind this franchise.
