Subnautica

I am so happy Family Friendly Gaming had the money to purchase a copy of Subnautica on the Playstation 4. Have you watched any of my Twitch streams on Subnautica? This is a fun underwater survival adventure video game. We craft things in Subnautica similar to Minecraft. We can then build things and improve our station on this alien planet. Subnautica gets more dangerous the farther we progress the storyline.

The modes in Subnautica are Survival, Freedom, Hardcore and Creative. The rules and difficulty change based on which mode you decide to play in. Subnautica is a lot like Minecraft in - expect to die early and often while you learn the game. Then you will find yourself surviving much longer. Thankfully chatters gave me tips on how to survive better in Subnautica. I really appreciate our viewers.

The three main things we do in Subnautica is scavenge, craft, and survive. We can pilot submarines and build underwater bases in Subnautica. The graphics in Subnautica look fantastic. There are some wild creatures in Subnautica too. We are on an alien planet so the game developer was able to go crazy with their imagination on what creatures to create.

The issues families can have with Subnautica are bad language, and violence. Some of these animals will attack us. Some of the bigger animals could swallow a human whole. Which can be a scary situation if you know what I mean. Subnautica can be frustrating at first.

All in all I enjoyed my time with Subnautica on the Playstation 4. This game challenged me in ways I was not expecting. Subnautica is fun if you like exploring the ocean and seeing what is out there. I believe there are families that will enjoy Subnautica.
