Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet
SCORE: 60
Family Friendly Gaming has reviewed all
kinds of video games from Ratalaika Games. Many of them are similar in
their indie origins. Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet is one of the most
different games we have seen from Ratalaika Games. Syrup and the
Ultimate Sweet is a visual novel. We read the text from the characters
and make decisions in terms of our responses to get to one of ten
endings.
Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet looks good, and has decent artwork. There
is also some nice music in Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet to listen to.
The more you read Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet the more you understand
about this fantasy universe and what is going on. I won’t spoil any of
that for you in case you decide to play this downloadable only video
game.
The issues families will have with Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet is
nudity, magic, alchemy, witches, and more. I am not sure why the lack of
attire/enticement to lust issue was even included in Syrup and the
Ultimate Sweet. It made no logical sense to this reviewer. The magical
element of Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet has some bearing on the story at
least.
Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet is a very small video game clocking in at
eighty-five megs. I did not need to delete anything on my Nintendo
Switch to be able to play Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet. Syrup and the
Ultimate Sweet is also on the Playstation Vita, Playstation 4, and Xbox
One. I did not find any information on a physical copy version of Syrup
and the Ultimate Sweet at the time this review was written.
If you like quirky visual novels than Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet might
be added to your listing. Most visual novels we have played here at
Family Friendly Gaming revolve around dating and finding love. Syrup and
the Ultimate Sweet is different. Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet is more
about solving a mystery and discovering the truth behind this magical
fantasy world.
