Tennis Open 2020

I love sports games. I love trying different sports games. I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Tennis Open 2020 on the Nintendo Switch. This tennis based video game includes twenty-five career players, sixteen tournaments, tutorial, quick play, and more. Tennis Open 2020 is an one hundred and ninety-six meg download. I found no information on a physical copy version of this game in the US at this time.

The first thing I noticed about Tennis Open 2020 is how sharp it looks. Then I noticed Tennis Open 2020 sounded pretty good too. The graphics are not the biggest, best, or most detailed. The fans in the stands looked good to me. There are a variety of different surfaces we play on in Tennis Open 2020 too. I then found the Lucky Wheel. We earn free in game cash on that wheel by spinning it every six hours.

Tennis Open 2020 explained the controls to me. We hold the left stick up to toss the ball, move it up and to the left to serve, press up or down on it to return the ball. Simple controls that anyone should be able to figure out how to use. As I finished the tutorial I earned even more money. I thought Tennis Open 2020 is going to be a cake walk. Maybe the difficulty will increase as I play through it.

My next step in Tennis Open 2020 was to try the career. I lost the coin toss every single time in the career mode which was foreshadowing. I lost the first match of the first tournament ten to twenty times in a row. The difficulty went from on the beach to a cliff face I could not even attempt to climb. What went wrong? My guy kept hitting it out of bounds. I never got to serve in career mode. Every time you lose you also lose some money.

I then decided to try quick play. I won the coin toss and lost every single match. I went back to career to lose some more. I checked the shop to see the expensive equipment would take me a week or more of wheel spins to earn anything better. This is where Tennis Open 2020 lost me entirely. The difficulty should slowly get harder. This feels like an app port where it was done to gather real money from impatient players.
