The Tick Season Two
SCORE: 69
Our main television set broke down
recently. So we and Family Friendly Gaming pooled our money to purchase
a new, slightly larger television set that is also smarter and more
connected. That gave us Amazon Prime. Yolanda has an account to Amazon
Prime so we were able to watch The Tick. I did not realize when I
started watching The Tick that it would start me in season two. In fact
it was not until over half way through that we even realized that. This
is why The Tick Season Two is being reviewed before The Tick Season One.
Out of order but I cannot do anything about that now.
At first The Tick and Arthur felt so out of place. I did not really get
into the actors chosen. I was also baffled by what the show did with
Arthur’s father. The casting of Dot worked well. Where is Die
Fledermaus? I like Overkill. I am not so big on the Sage character
personally. He is a magic character with a nipple in the middle of his
chest. That is not even the oddest thing in The Tick Season Two. The
lines of good and evil are blurred in The Tick Season Two.
The issues families will have with The Tick Season Two is bad language,
violence, drinking, lack of attire, enticement to lust, magic, lying,
deceit, and more. There are small references to the environment and
evolution in the ten episodes of The Tick Season Two. There are plenty
of creepy and cringe moments within The Tick Season Two. The whole
Danger Boat loving Arthur thing was bad. Arthur losing his job was
horrible. The Tick and Arthur being parents to lobsters was beyond
bizarre.
The Tick humor is definitely found in The Tick Season Two. There are
plenty of chuckles in this show if you think about the situations and
the comments being made. The Tick seems offended by having to do
anything related to paper. I love how Arthur explains paper is needed to
buy more coffee. AEGIS plays a major role in The Tick Season Two. There
is an amazing cliffhanger at the end of The Tick Season Two. Too bad the
show was canceled.
There are only ten episodes of The Tick Season Two. Each episode is
under thirty minutes long. It does not take long to watch the entire
season. I noticed a few impressive moments with the special effects. I
like what was done with the eyes of so many characters in The Tick
Season Two. I now need to watch through season one of this show. I hope
both seasons eventually make it to the physical copy realm. Adults into
quirky super hero shows might enjoy The Tick Season Two.
