Tokyo Xanadu eX+
SCORE: 58
Due to the PR and Marketing failures
Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ on the PS4.
This game was actually on the game purchasing list on the PS Vita. Then
the purchasing agent noticed the best version was on the PS4. That is
why this game was purchased on the Playstation 4.
The issues families can have with Tokyo Xanadu eX+ are violence, bad
language, enticement to lust, lack of attire, magic, demons, soul
powers, and more. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is like so many other JRPGs out
there. Why do American gamers buy the same things over and over again?
We have high school students, alternate dimensions, demons, certain
people can see these rifts, demons, and more.
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ looks like a PS3 game to me. The long story element
sections can be skipped. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ fast forwards through them.
The music in Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is okay. The Japanese voice acting sent me
to reading the text. The dungeons in Tokyo Xanadu eX+ look like so many
other recent JRPGs as well. This role playing game felt so dull to me. I
felt like I have been there and done that a thousand times already with
Tokyo Xanadu eX+.
American companies need to inject this genre with some better concepts.
I hope my fellow role playing gamers get to the point of exhaustion with
the same thing from these companies like I have. Please catch up and
start to reject games like Tokyo Xanadu eX+.
The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel does this kind of game better
in my opinion. The long ranged attacks are a bit too limited in this
action adventure role playing game. Boss fights are challenging thanks
to their large health bars. We can swap players which is helpful -
especially after one dies.
I value Tokyo Xanadu eX+ at five dollars brand new. That is only if you
are not familiar with this genre and can handle all of the bad content.
This game did not impress me - not one bit.
