Tower of Time

Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Tower of Time on the Xbox One. This role playing game is also on the PC, Nintendo Switch, and Playstation 4. Tower of Time is rated ‘T’ for thirteen and older only. The difficulties in this game are Story, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Epic. We are looking back on the past from an elderly gentleman who is telling his tale. He was the hero that saved the world, and destroyed it.

The graphics look like they were from a past generation to me. We have an overhead viewpoint in Tower of Time. This confused me at times since I am not used to that visual layout. The music is okay in Tower of Time. We get some voice acting that sounds very haunted to me. I feel like the main character wants to be judged for his past sins. Tower of Time feels like a fallen hero type of story to me personally.

The issues families can have with Tower of Time are blood, violence, gore, death, lack of attire, enticement to lust, magic, and language. The fights in Tower of Time are painfully slow. We use the right bumper to move our character. We cannot always reach enemies with the main character either. At times we must use the archer to get them if they are right on the edge of the map. I ran into crashes while playing Tower of Time as well.

We fight a variety of mythical monsters in Tower of Time. A great example is the undead we must dispatch. The gameplay mechanics confused me at times in Tower of Time. Especially when I first started playing Tower of Time. In fact these mechanics are my least favorite part of Tower of Time. I found no information on a physical copy of Tower of Time in the United States at this time. There are one hundred and fifty different enemies, and fifty bosses in Tower of Time.

Tower of Time is very heavy on using a plethora of magic skills to change the battlefield in your favor for the waves of enemies that come your way. Tower of Time comes with seven classes, crafting, equipment, alignment, skill system, and more. I loved getting to choose which reward I wanted at key moments within Tower of Time. Role playing gamers over the age of thirteen interested in something new and downloadable only may take a shine to Tower of Time.
