We like WWE 2K Battlegrounds way better than the normal WWE 2K titles. This video game has a mixture feeling of an app and a console video game. Families can purchase WWE 2K Battlegrounds on Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, or Playstation 4.

Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital copy of WWE 2K Battlegrounds on the Playstation 4. This game is also in physical format on most of the systems. WWE 2K Battlegrounds used up 8.6 gigs of space. The modes in this wrestling video game are Campaign, Tournament, King of the Battleground, Battleground Challenge, Exhibition Women, and Exhibition Men. The kinds of matches in WWE 2K Battlegrounds are One-on-One, Tornado Tag Team Steel Cage 1 VS 1, Steel Cage 2 VS 2, Fatal 4-Way, Triple Threat, Gauntlet, Royal Rumble, and Tag Team.

The issues families can have with this thirteen and older only rated video game are violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There are all kinds of super powers that can be used in WWE 2K Battlegrounds. The third punch in a row packs a wallop and cannot be blocked. The same goes for kicks. As we battle it out in WWE 2K Battlegrounds we build Power Ups. These are selected before the match starts.

The wrestlers in WWE 2K Battlegrounds have a cartoony look to them. Sort of realistic mixed with squashed or squat characters. They break out of boxes before the matches start. The action can be very fast in WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Certain moves can go all over the ring and are hard to defend against unless you are blocking. Foreign objects like chairs break after they are used a few times. Cage matches have an electrical quality from time to time.

The long story mode is what impresses me most about WWE 2K Battlegrounds. The story elements are told through comic books. We unlock all kinds of content and characters in the story mode. Real world money or bucks earned in the game by completing specific actions in the game. Certain characters are unlocked after the player completes certain parts of the story. My biggest complaint about WWE 2K Battlegrounds is targeting when more than two characters are in the ring.
