Zero Zero Zero Zero
SCORE: 56
I had no concept of what to expect from
Zero Zero Zero Zero. Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download
code to Zero Zero Zero Zero on the Nintendo Switch. This indie game
looks like it could belong on the Atari 5600. Zero Zero Zero Zero is
completely black and white so maybe this 1-bit game did not even reach
that level. Zero Zero Zero Zero looks like PONG with slightly improved
graphics.
The music in Zero Zero Zero Zero is really odd. I never enjoyed it
either. At times the music made my head hurt. Zero Zero Zero Zero is a
difficult video game. We have a little small guy who must get to some
weird object, and then back to the start location. Why go back to the
start location in Zero Zero Zero Zero? A door opens that lets us leave.
There are one hundred levels in Zero Zero Zero Zero that randomly
generate. They randomly generate when a level is completed and when we
die. It was interesting to me that I kept randomly generating into
levels I had already completed. Why did that happen? Is it so difficult
to let us go from level one to two, and three, etc. I was very
disappointed in that.
If the difficult Standard Mode is too easy for you then you can go into
Hardcore mode. There are plenty of objects to avoid in Zero Zero Zero
Zero. Our character can shoot some of them. Removing blocks that are in
the way is the best example of this. The player also has a double jump
in Zero Zero Zero Zero. The controls in this downloadable only video
game are a bit loose at times.
Zero Zero Zero Zero is not my kind of games. I do not see a lot of
families getting into Zero Zero Zero Zero. Hardcore haters will probably
enjoy Zero Zero Zero Zero. What is the deal with that game name too?
What do four zeroes in a row have to do with what we are doing in this
game? Fifty years ago two colors was all we could get in a video game.
We have progressed since then.
