Bonkies

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Bonkies on the Nintendo Switch. Bonkies can also be found on the Personal Computer, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. This is a local cooperative multiplayer video game. Bonkies can be played by one player but the levels are much harder in my personal and professional opinion. We play with monkeys that have robotic arms and jet packs.

There are guides shown in Bonkies. We must move the blocks in such a way that they fill these guidelines for at least three seconds. Bonkies will make families think in some of the levels. The physics in Bonkies make perfect sense. There is a timer in Bonkies. If we beat a level fast enough then we can earn bananas. If you earn enough bananas in Bonkies then you can unlock additional content.

There are so few cooperative video games on the market. It is really nice to see Bonkies fill that void. The graphics in Bonkies look decent, and I enjoyed the music while I was playing. The music in Bonkies have an Eastern flavor to them. I actually expected more chimp related music when I played Bonkies to go along with the characters we played. No worries because I enjoyed the music in Bonkies just fine.

The two modes in Bonkies are Co-op and Solo. They are exactly as they sound. Play the game with four family members or by yourself. Bonkies gets interesting with breakable blocks. I am not sure if they are glass or ice. Either way be sure to handle them with care. As well as be careful what you drop on top of them. I cracked a few of them and took that as a notice to handle with care if you know what I mean.

Bonkies is just under one gig in term of memory size on the Nintendo Switch. The world rotating map screens are pretty neat to see. There are multiple controls in this physics puzzle video game to help us move around the blocks just so to get them where they need to be. Bonkies taught me to careful think and plan my actions before doing them. There are levels I did not think about it and the blocks came crashing down.
