Donuts'n'Justice

Donuts'n'Justice is an interesting concept when we look at it on paper. Think of a shooter that is more like Final Fight. Donuts'n'Justice does not look as good as River City Ransom but does have about the same amount of enemies. The screen scrolls slowly why we take two police officers who shoot the bad guys. We get our Dirty Harry out of system while shooting the bad guys only in Donuts'n'Justice.

It is possible to shoot civilians in Donuts'n'Justice. Do you know what happens when you shoot a civilian in Donuts'n'Justice? Your gun jams. Donuts'n'Justice is hard enough being able to shoot all these bad guys. It gets even harder when the gun won't fire. Players can also throw grenades in Donuts'n'Justice if they feel like being explosive. The bad guys also throw combustable things at the player.

Donuts'n'Justice has a Miami Vice vibe to me. I actually never watched the show though. I heard others talk about Miami Vice and parts of Donuts'n'Justice is how I envision that television show. The graphics in Donuts'n'Justice are very retro. To me the graphics in Donuts'n'Justice look 8-bit at best. There might be some better details in some of the objects and backgrounds to be fair.

The music in Donuts'n'Justice is okay. The menu music reminds me of the police coming to get you. There is a tutorial players play to learn the buttons. It is actually one of the shortest tutorials I have ever played in my life. The offensive content within Donuts'n'Justice is blood, violence, bad language, and more. The blood and bad language was not really needed. Certain letters are given special characters to make it less bad.

Donuts'n'Justice is challenging. If you like hard indie video games then Donuts'n'Justice might up your alley. Collecting badges can help the player unlock things and make it a bit easier. The levels keep slowly scrolling and the enemies keep coming. Donuts'n'Justice is a mixture between 2D side scrolling shooters and Final Fight. Donuts'n'Justice also includes a Boss Rush Mode for those that really want a challenge.
