Dr. Stone 2
SCORE: 73
I am extremely thankful that Peter had the
money to purchase the Dr. Stone 2 manga. This story is starting to get
really interesting as we have the good characters and a bad character.
The bad high schooler wants to kill off all adults and only allow kids
to come back to life. He will institute a survival of the fittest and
wants to ensure there will be no science culture that grows into this
new world.
Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha work diligently in Dr. Stone 2 to get
gunpowder. Making such a weapon will ensure they can fight off Tsukasa.
Smoke signals in the distance complicate matters. Is it Tsukasa or
someone else? If there are other humans in the area how did they get
there? Were they released from being petrified as well? Or is something
else going on? Dr. Stone 2 slowly reveals these secrets like peeling an
onion.
SPOILER ALERT! Tsukasa uses a threat of killing the young lady to learn
the secret of how to revive fellow humans. Senku reveals the secret to
save her life. In the process he almost dies. He takes quite a gamble
there with where he gets hit in the back of the neck. I won’t reveal any
more of what happens to ya’ll. Dr. Stone 2 is a very interesting read
and it got me thinking how I would cope with such an environment.
The issues families can have with Dr. Stone 2 are lack of attire,
enticement to lust, and violence. The potentially offensive content is
lighter in Dr. Stone 2 than the first manga book. This is good news in
my professional opinion. I hope this franchise continues along in that
direction in future manga books. The lines are drawn in Dr. Stone 2 as
two cultures will begin to emerge. Is there a third culture out there?
There are different theories about what happened in Dr. Stone 2. I am
very curious to find out the original cause of the disaster in Dr. Stone
2. This is one of the reasons I will continue to read and review this
franchise. Maybe someday I will even get into the anime. Time will tell.
The art work in Dr. Stone 2 exhibits wonderful emotions. There is plenty
of drama in Dr. Stone 2 from front cover to back cover.
