Dr. Stone Season One Part One
SCORE: 70
I was able to get through Dr. Stone Season
One Part One really fast because it is only twelve episodes. The anime
follows the manga very closely. I knew what to expect from Dr. Stone
Season One Part One. I actually like the anime better than the manga
personally. Watching the story in color is better than reading it in
black and white. That is my personal opinion. You can disagree if you
like.
I noticed a pattern in the Japanese entertainment that we have been
watching here at Family Friendly Gaming. There is some major event and
then we slowly get to learn more about the fantasy world. Dr. Stone
Season One Part One follows that to a tee. All of the birds and humans
are turned to stone. One man breaks free and finds ways to free others.
He also finds a village of humans. Where did they come from? How were
humans turned to stone?
The issues families can have with Dr. Stone Season One Part One are lack
of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, violence, blood, and more.
There is some mocking of God and promotion of Buddah. Dr. Stone Season
One Part One is all about science. The Old Earth theory is promoted in
Dr. Stone Season One Part One. Ten billion percent is a phrase used
quite often in Dr. Stone Season One Part One.
Dr. Stone Season One Part One explores a few interesting concepts. Did
science and technology make our lives better or worse? Who belongs to be
in power of any culture of society? What kind of abuse is allowed and
what kinds are stopped? There is some fun humor in Dr. Stone Season One
Part One as well. I loved when Senku evaluated the scientific level of
others. Things like bubbles shocked and scared those who had never seen
them before.
The animation and voice acting in Dr. Stone Season One Part One is
really good. There are points in Dr. Stone Season One Part One where
lying is used to keep certain people safe. The way dangers are dealt
with in Dr. Stone Season One Part One make sense at times and others
just baffled me. I thought of numerous great ways to test a gas mask, so
I am not sure why Senku did not.
