F9 The Fast Saga
SCORE: 70
I am very thankful I had enough money to
purchase the nineth official film in the Fast and Furious franchise. F9
The Fast Saga is that movie. Yolanda and I had gone and seen this movie
in the theater when it was out. This gave us an opportunity to share
this movie with our boys. F9 The Fast Saga comes with the regular
version of the movie which is two hours and twenty-two minutes, and the
directors cut which is two hours and twenty-nine minutes.
F9 The Fast Saga is full of action. There is more in F9 The Fast Saga
than racing cars. This franchise has gone deep into the spy game. Dom
Toretto thought he retired from this game. That is until Mr Nobody's
plane gets shot down and Dom's long lost brother Jakob resurfaces. The
crew comes back together to stop Jakob and his partner from hacking into
every single network on the planet.
SPOILER ALERT! Han returns in F9 The Fast Saga. We find out that he did
not actually die in that previous movie. Mr Nobody recruited him and
made it look like he died. The theme of family runs deep in F9 The Fast
Saga. We find out what happened to Dom and Jakob's father back in the
day. We also find out some hard truths that Dom did not want to accept
at first. Redemption is another theme that runs through F9 The Fast
Saga.
This franchise is constantly trying to top itself with more outlandish
situations than the previous movies. F9 The Fast Saga is no exception.
Tej and Roman must go where no racer has gone before. Yes I am talking
about outer space. They must physically get to a satellite to stop the
bad guys. We even have a moment of sacrifice for this duo in F9 The Fast
Saga.
All in all I enjoyed F9 The Fast Saga. There are plenty of crazy racing
moments in F9 The Fast Saga. Like racing through a mine field for
example. Roman starts to think they are invincible in F9 The Fast Saga
because of all the crazy things they have made it through. Tej even
humors him a little bit before slamming him back to reality. I wish the
bad language had been toned down in F9 The Fast Saga. There are also
violent moments within F9 The Fast Saga. The Samson spot was pretty
good.
