Fighting Fantasy Legends

Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Fighting Fantasy Legends on the Nintendo Switch. Fighting Fantasy Legends is similar to Deathtrap Dungeon Trilogy. We have a top down view and plenty of choices to make along the way. We can be a Barbarian, Dwarf, or Elf. We then get to pick an additional special skill for our character. Then we start walking the road and interacting with different characters.

I found there are plenty of quests to perform within Fighting Fantasy Legends. When we must fight in Fighting Fantasy Legends we roll dice. Fighting Fantasy Legends reminds me of the old Dungeons and Dragons board games. The music is really nice in Fighting Fantasy Legends. The overhead graphics look decent in Fighting Fantasy Legends as well. A lot of the game play feels really random to me in Fighting Fantasy Legends.

The issues families can have with Fighting Fantasy Legends are violence, blood, and more. We meet a plethora of characters while playing Fighting Fantasy Legends and some have some nasty attitudes. We do not heal after every battle which means attrition becomes a problem at some point. I searched all over for some places to heal and did not find them.

Fighting Fantasy Legends taught me to never ever take shortcuts. Every single time I took a shortcut in Fighting Fantasy Legends things went badly. I also learned to never gamble on anything in Fighting Fantasy Legends. Those things also went badly for me. The green dice are for luck, and the red dice are for battles.

We can upgrade different things when we level up in Fighting Fantasy Legends. I kept getting the choice of skill or luck. Adding to luck gave me one more dice to roll with. The skill got better I think. I am not too sure about that since I did not notice how it improved my character. A basic reading ability is required to play Fighting Fantasy Legends.
