Frozen II
SCORE: 68
Frozen II was a massive disappointment for
me on so many levels. At the end of the one hundred and three minute
animated movie I could not recall one song from the movie. The songs are
not memorable or catchy. Which is a shame after the first movie. Frozen
II tries hard with all kinds of songs. None of them are hits for me
personally. The storyline in Frozen II makes little no sense unless you
understand the hate speech coming from Hollywood.
Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven go off on a quest to find the voice
Elsa is hearing. I thought she might be going insane for a bit there.
Things get a whole lot darker and more ominous in Frozen II. Elsa is
very powerful with her ice magic. They go into a forbidden land where
four spirits have kept all humans out. Why? There was a battle in that
area between two peoples. Who started it is still a mystery. If you
comprehend the hate speech coming from Hollywood you can probably easily
guess.
Olaf eventually works his way back into my heart in Frozen II. He starts
a bit flat but eventually gets going and is a fun character again. He is
hilarious talking about being wiser now that he is older. The issues
families can have with Frozen II are violence, danger, peril, magic,
spirits, hate speech against men and white people. Why is Hollywood
always making the men buffoons, or villains. If they are a man in power
they are obviously evil – this is what Frozen II teaches.
SPOILER ALERT! The city dwellers are the aggressors against those living
in harmony with nature and the spirits. Where does that sound familiar?
Disney has moved from the prince saving the princess to women doing
everything and correcting everything. Frozen II promotes a religious
system that is in direct contradiction and attack on our
Judaeo-Christian beliefs. They claim to tolerate diversity and then
always make us the villains.
The worst part of Frozen II is the ending. SPOILER ALERT! Elsa is the
fifth spirit that bridges the spirits world to the normal regular human
material world. Anna takes over as queen. Sven finally proposes after
numerous blunders. I am not a fan of the direction Frozen II took. I am
not a fan of the direction Disney is taking. They are becoming more and
more hostile to Christians and they expect us to pay them to attack us.
