Long Ago A Puzzle Tale

This is the second rolling around video game we have played here at Family Friendly Gaming recently. Remember the sponsored live stream for Red's Kingdom? That was also a game where we rolled a character around levels. Long Ago A Puzzle Tale is much more on the puzzle genre though. In Long Ago A Puzzle Tale we must collect all of the feathers or coins in so many moves. Sounds really easy right? You would be deluding yourself if you thought Long Ago A Puzzle Tale is really easy.

Pretty early on in the eighty levels I found myself stuck in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale repeatedly. There is a gauge in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale that builds up for a hint. The hint in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale will tell you which direction to go next. We can also undo our moves in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale with the 'B' button. The reversal of a move can be done all the way back to the first move the family member enacted in the level they are currently playing.

The five chapters in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale are told in a rhyme about a princess who wants to be free from duty and obligation. She wants to have adventure while everyone around her is trying to get to embrace the structure of her station. The core message in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale is to rebel. I remember one of my teachers in high school making an amazing point. If all ya'll are rebelling to be individuals then you are actually technically a herd. Just a different herd doing the same things.

The music in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale is pleasant to listen to. The graphics in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale are decent. I can tell what is what in the 3D small levels. The ball we roll around goes until it hits something. Then we can point the ball in another direction. As in game currency is earned the player can pick a different ball to roll around in the levels.

To unlock chapters the players must unlock the gems. For some reason there are some levels in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale that are insanely challenging. I would run across them early on while playing Long Ago A Puzzle Tale too. Rolling through the logs is one of my most favorite things to do in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale. Hitting all the statues in a level will unlock feathers that we need to acquire in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale to complete the levels. I lost levels quite frequently in Long Ago A Puzzle Tale.
