Mail Mole

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Mail Mole on the Nintendo Switch. Mail Mole is an action adventure 3D platformer where we play a mole. The mole in Mail Mole burrows through the ground. I often wondered how he got hit with something that was up in the air and we were underground. Pondering minds want to know. We can sprint, jump out of the ground, collect carrots, and collect radishes.

As we play Mail Mole we unlock additional content. This means boss levels, Rick's Store and more. Being able to change the hat of the mole is pretty cool. The main character in Mail Mole can only take three hits before having to respawn at the last continuation marker. Players will also lose five carrots to come back to life. So keep some carrots on you at all times in case you make a mistake. I have no idea what happens if you have no carrots and need to respawn.

There is a little action adventure violence in Mail Mole. The main problem is our mole will take damage from hits. It took me a few tries to figure out the jumping in Mail Mole. Hold down the button to charge the jump and it usually went better for me. The camera is stationary and players are not allowed to move it around. This felt really weird to me in this kind of a video game.

If you can beat a level in a certain amount of time then you will receive a medal. The goal of each of the levels in Mail Mole is to make it to the mail box. When we get there we deliver the mail. This concept helps Mail Mole rise above a generic action adventure 3D platformer in my professional opinion. I like charging the stations until the evil spaceship came to steal my energy.

The music in Mail Mole is okay. There are some clever designs to some of the levels within Mail Mole. I love being able to burrow up a hill to get to a higher platform. I had some fun playing Mail Mole on the Nintendo Switch. I think my dad would be willing to do a sponsored live stream series of this game if Undercoders is interested. To my knowledge there are no physical copy versions of Mail Mole in the United States at this time.
