Marsupilami Hoobadventure

I am very thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Marsupilami Hoobadventure on the Nintendo Switch. Marsupilami Hoobadventure can also be played on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There are physical copy versions of Marsupilami Hoobadventure available for families to purchase at retailers. Marsupilami Hoobadventure is a side scrolling 2D action adventure platformer.

I recorded my gameplay of Marsupilami Hoobadventure from start to finish. There are three worlds in Marsupilami Hoobadventure. We play a couple of different kinds of levels in Marsupilami Hoobadventure. We play the action adventure side scrolling levels where we collect feathers, and fruit. There can be hidden levels within those as well. There are also Dojo levels where we have so much time to go through all of the rings. Make sure to not take a hit in the Dojo levels. You will have to start over if you do. The same goes for falling off the ledges.

There is a cool feature within Marsupilami Hoobadventure. The animal we are playing with has a very long tail. This tail is used to grab onto certain objects. This adds a nice game play mechanic to the levels within Marsupilami Hoobadventure. This feature is used a lot in the final section of the final boss level. This was very obnoxious by the way. Marsupilami Hoobadventure starts easy and gets more difficult as the game progresses.

I had some fun playing Marsupilami Hoobadventure. This action adventure platformer looks nice and sounds pretty good. The half skeleton main bad guy is a bit odd in my opinion. What are his motivations? Why is he doing this? Marsupilami Hoobadventure could have given us some better back story to comprehend why the bad character did what he did. Marsupilami Hoobadventure felt like – hey there is a bad guy lets go get him.

We earn tickets for each of the Dojos we defeat. Those are used for treasure levels. I learned to bulk up on lives in Marsupilami Hoobadventure because there are hard sections I lost a lot of lives. Marsupilami Hoobadventure provides plenty of extra lives if you take your time going through the levels. The feathers unlock additional levels for families to play. I wish Marsupilami Hoobadventure were twice as long actually.
