There are a variety of systems from the
past that did not last long enough. The NEOGEO Pocket Color was one such
system. I actually own one of those systems and have some games for it.
I do not have a good way of video capturing from that system which is
what makes NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol 1 so exciting. There are
ten NEOGEO Pocket Color video games included in this volume. That is
pretty cool right? It is also a neat trend to see. It would be great to
see games from other hand helds make it into the home console market in
the future.
The games included within NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol 1 are Big
Tournament Golf, Dark Arms Beast Buster 1999, Fatal Fury First Contact,
SNK Gals' Fighters, King of Fighters R-2, The Last Blade Beyond the
Destiny, Metal Slug 1st Mission, Metal Slug 2nd Mission, Samurai
Showdown 2, and SNK vs Capcom The Match of the Millenium. Most of those
games are of the violent persuasion. Many of the games included within
NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol 1 are fighting games. Two family
members can compete in those games. Which is cool since you would need
two systems to do that on the original system.
This 911 meg downloadable title lets us play the games, look at the box,
look at the manual, change the language and more. NEOGEO POCKET COLOR
SELECTION Vol 1 includes a lot more than I was expecting. The coolest
feature in NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol 1 is the rewind feature.
While playing a game the family member playing can rewind to fix any
major mistakes they might have made. This is great in my personal and
professional opinion.
The issues families will have with NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol 1
are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, goddess
religious beliefs and more. The true gem in NEOGEO POCKET COLOR
SELECTION Vol 1 is Big Tournament Golf. This game is way better than I
expected. I also had never played it before. The games in NEOGEO POCKET
COLOR SELECTION Vol 1 look good for their age and they also sound good.
Remember these are older hand held video games so do not expect top of
the line graphics or audio.
Nostalgic and historic gamers will get a real kick out of NEOGEO POCKET
COLOR SELECTION Vol 1. I would love to see all of the NEO GEO Pocket
Color video games released on modern consoles. I also hope this becomes
a trend and the same thing happens for Game Gear, and Atari Lynx video
games. SNK is certainly leading the way in America on this issue. SNK
could have just ported over the emulation ROMs of their games. They
certainly went the extra mile with NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol 1
and it shows.
