Pinkman+

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Pinkman+ on the Nintendo Switch. This 2D video game reminds me graphically of games on the Atari 2600. The neat part is there are some wild colors used in Pinkman+. Whenever we finish a level or die in a level the colors will change drastically. We can zoom in or zoom out on the graphics within Pinkman+ too.

The goal of Pinkman+ is to find the switch that unlocks the door and then go through it. There are checkpoints in many of the levels so we do not have to repeat the entire level. I personally appreciate that as the levels got more complex and difficult. Pinkman+ has some fun music to listen to while progressing through the levels. There are one hundred levels to get through in Pinkman+.

The A button allows players to fly for a short distance, and the B button allows us to jump. I learned to use the two buttons together to make it past some rather large chasms. Speed is needed in Pinkman+ when you are avoiding things like the missiles. Those missiles target the player and will try to blow your little bits up. That is as violent as Pinkman+ gets. Those bits do not feel like blood or gore to me.

There are some fun parkour moments in this minimalistic video game. Wall jumping and wall sliding are also tools the player uses in Pinkman+. The fuel cans that power up the flying are really fun to mess around with. I loved using them, and blew through those levels really quickly. Pinkman+ never got boring for me. I enjoyed playing the levels in this game from start until finish.

Pinkman+ is only fifty-four megs so it will not eat up too much of our memory on your system. The retro graphics in Pinkman+ did not really bother me personally. I actually enjoyed seeing them in Pinkman+. I hope there are sequels to Pinkman+ in the future. There are plenty of great ideas used in Pinkman+. It was a pleasure for me to play and review Pinkman+ on the Nintendo Switch.
