Pixel Ripped 1989
SCORE: 70
Hopefully you read the recent Updated News
story on the Family Friendly Gaming website about Pixel Ripped 1989
getting a physical copy release on the PS4 VR. I love seeing physical
copies come to PS4 VR video games. Family Friendly Gaming was given a
digital download code to Pixel Ripped 1989 on the PS4 VR. I wish I could
tell you all about the cool packaging and disc artwork. Sadly I am not
able to report on that at this time.
Pixel Ripped 1989 clocks in just under two gigs in terms of memory size.
Pixel Ripped 1989 might be one of the most unique and interesting ideas
for a video game ever. We play a character that is playing a hand held
video game device. The first world takes place in a classroom. That
means we must use a spit shooter to distract the teacher from teaching.
Then the player can play the game.
Half of the time I was playing the hand held console in Pixel Ripped
1989 and the other half I was distracting others so I could play. You
will get a game over if you just focus on the hand held video game. The
boss fights do not require us to distract someone. The boss fights
transform the real world into levels that look better graphically than
the retro hand held device levels.
The issues families will have with Pixel Ripped 1989 is bad language,
lack of attire, enticement to lust, and violence. I was a bit shocked to
see an adult magazine in the hands of the one of the kids in Pixel
Ripped 1989. That was inappropriate on so many levels. A gaming magazine
would have made more sense to me personally. Plus it would have gone
along with the rest of the tongue in cheek atmosphere of this game.
The indie graphics look a bit better than the Gameboy. The music is
fantastic. The controls in Pixel Ripped 1989 function properly. I
learned to run and jump over large chasms. The idea behind Pixel Ripped
1989 is very creative. I was partially into the whole retro storyline
and part into what was going on in the real world. Pixel Ripped 1989 is
a bit on the short side, which is to be expected of most VR video games
nowadays.
