Pocoyo Party

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Pocoyo Party on the Playstation 5. Pocoyo Party is also on the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. I was unable to find any information on a physical copy of Pocoyo Party on any of those systems in the United States. I did find news that Europe gets the much sought after and very respected retail version of Pocoyo Party. Pretty lame we are denied that choice in America.

Pocoyo Party is a 2.3 gigs in terms of memory size on your system. At least on the Playstation 5. I am not clear on the exact size on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. I have noticed in the past that some games are different sizes on different machines in terms of the memory. Pocoyo Party is a kids game so it is reviewed with that reality in mind. Kids games and adult games have different audiences with a different focus.

Pocoyo Party looks great, and it sounds great too. Pocoyo Party has seven different doors that all go to seven different mini games. Within the mini games are six levels. Within the six levels are five challenges we complete. The challenges get a bit tougher as the child progresses through the levels within the mini games. One or two family members can play the games in Pocoyo Party.

We do different things and have different controls in Pocoyo Party. I was able to easily control Pocoyo Party. I did have to roll the controller around on some of the mini games within Pocoyo Party. I don’t know if that was a sensitivity thing or not. The Angry Alien hides the invites to the party and it is up to us to go and find those invites in those worlds. Adults will get bored with Pocoyo Party pretty quickly. Kids enjoy this game and the bright colors.

This game is my first exposure to this franchise. From what my research shows the Pocoyo franchise is really popular. In fact Pocoyo might even be more popular than Family Friendly Gaming. I know that could be shocking to our audience. I like the narrator in Pocoyo Party. He reminds me of all those people that want me to become a paid voice actor. Pocoyo Party is very encouraging to the children as they play.

I hope to see more games like Pocoyo Party in the future. Families can know their kids are safe playing a game they will find very fun. Kids will be thrilled to earn stickers as they play through Pocoyo Party on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. My biggest complaint about Pocoyo Party is not having a physical case in my hand. We would welcome Pocoyo Party into our advertising family if they express an interest.
