I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was
provided a digital download code for Rims Racing on the Xbox Series X.
Rims Racing can also be found on the PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and
Xbox One. Rims Racing is just over eleven gigs in terms of memory size.
There are physical copy versions of Rims Racing available for families
to purchase at retailers. I am very thankful there are physical copy
editions of Rims Racing available.
Rims Racing is a motorcycle racing video game. We have gotten a lot of
motorcycle video games in recent years. Rims Racing feels like a lot of
the other motorcyle racing games with a few less options available. I
found Rims Racing to be a bit friendlier to casual gamers in terms of
difficulty. I dropped the difficulty of the AI to the lowest setting and
was able to win some races.
The Forza Horizon series has spoiled me for all other racing franchises.
I expect to be able to rewind the game when mistakes are made. Rims
Racing does not have the feature. Rims Racing forces players to take the
tutorial and the action is slowed down every single time the narrator
wants to explain something. To be honest I had more issues with the
tutorial than anything else in Rims Racing.
The music in Rims Racing gave me a headache. I found the music to be
exceptionally obnoxious. The music in Rims Racing does not help me race
better and was a constant annoyance and distraction. The Autopilot in
and out of the pitstop can be obnoxious. The same goes for some small
quick time events to make changes to the bike. I like being able to do
motorbike status checks in almost all areas of the races in Rims Racing.
The modes and options within Rims Racing are Single Player, Multiplayer,
Settings, Rims Card, News, and Credits. Within Single Player the
available modes are Career, Single Race, Private Testing, and Academy
Racing Tutorial. The modes within Multiplayer are Online Challenges,
Online Cistom EVents, and Offline Duel. There are plenty of twists and
turns in the nineteen tracks within Rims Racing. Some of those tracks
are reverse of other existing tracks.
Rims Racing is not the worst motorcycle racing game on the market. Rims
Racing is also not the best motorcycle racing game. Rims Racing is
actually somewhere in the middle. There are aspects I like about Rims
Racing like how it controls and being able to change the weather. There
are features missing in Rims Racing that would make it an even better
experience. If we get a video sponsorship then we can show ya'll Rims
Racing.
