Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for Seed of Life. This Steam game is an action adventure
puzzler. The sun is dying on this alien world in Seed of Life. Aliens
are leaving the planet after destroying your world. It is up to you to
save the day. You are the only one who can activate the Seed of Life and
rekindle your sun once again. How do we do that in Seed of Life? We
solve all kinds of puzzles.
Seed of Life looks gorgeous. I was honestly a bit surprised how good
this 3D third person video game looked. The music in Seed of Life is
also fantastic. There is voice dialogue and narration in Seed of Life as
well. To be blunt the voice acting in Seed of Life did not move me. They
need to use people like our Emperor here at Family Friendly Gaming. He
could add some real spice to the voices as he has proven in hundreds of
live streams.
Seed of Life is one of those video games that makes you figure it out.
Seed of Life gives you some vague guidance like cross the river. It
would not let me jump or climb over. So I had to look around and find
things to interact with. Eventually I figured out what to do by
interacting with some strange objects. Then force fields dropped and I
could get to the right spot. I also learned my character can take fall
damage in Seed of Life.
Seed of Life should be on the consoles in my opinion. It would work
better on the PS5 and Xbox Series X in my opinion. The WASD controls
with the mouse did not feel right with this video game. I struggled with
the controls and even tried my PC controller. I could get into and out
of the menu screens with my PC controller. That was all it would let me
do. I don’t think anyone at FFG would be willing to do sponsored streams
of Seed of Life without controller support.
Seed of Life works really hard to tell an epic story about saving this
alien planet. Expect long loading to get to those nice graphics. Seed of
Life can be played in Story, Normal or Hard modes. The whole life force
of the planet skirts into religious teachings. I found I am very
talented at dying in Seed of Life. This downloadable only video game
does some good things and there are areas left for improvement.
