Space Jam

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a retail copy of Space Jam. The version we are reviewing contains 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and the Digital version. Families can enjoy the Space Jam movie featuring Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan. The premise of the movie is aliens from Moron Mountain come down to enslave the Looney Tunes. Since these aliens are small the cartoon characters challenge them to a game of basketball.

What Bugs and his friends don't realize is the aliens steal the baskeball prowess and talent from professional basketball players. Michael Jordan is trying his hand at baseball. As you may remember Michael Jordan did horrible in professional baseball. Bugs Bunny and company enlist Michael Jordan to help them play against the aliens in a basketball game.

The issues in Space Jam that could bother families are cartoon violence, and some language. I really enjoyed the music in Space Jam. The animation mixed with real people is done extremely well. SPOILER ALERT! There is even a little mixture near the end when Michael Jordan stretches his arm out really far to make a basket. Which of course is what would win the game for his team.

There are plenty of funny parts within Space Jam. I loved the parts featuring Bill Murray. Larry Bird does a fantastic job in Space Jam as well. We watched Space Jam for one of our movie nights and everyone found something to laugh at and about in Space Jam. Taz is a lot of fun in Space Jam. Daffy Duck has his spots and moments in Space Jam as well. I found myself feeling bad for Daffy Duck in certain parts of Space Jam.

I enjoyed watching Space Jam after all of these years. Kudos to Michael Jordan for trying baseball and a movie like Space Jam. This movie also harkens back to the day when athletes played the game, did entertainment, and were not constantly preaching radical far left idealogy. That is something else I really appreciate about Space Jam. There are plenty of bonus features for families to explore on the Space Jam discs.
