This guy is getting older and no romantic prospects. He saves his friend from a guy running at them with a knife and winds up dying. The thirty-seven year old Satoru Mikuma then appears in a fantasy world as a slime. He befriends a dragon and learns about the world as well as the skills.

The Japanese man becomes Rimuru Tempest and winds up building up a goblin village. He encounters other races, grows and develops.
