The Rising of the Shield Hero 4
SCORE: 71
I am very thankful Peter had the money to
purchase The Rising of the Shield Hero 4 manga book. Things are really
heating up in The Rising of the Shield Hero 4. The Shield Hero is
dealing with the damage he caused with the cursed shield at the end of
The Rising of the Shield Hero 3. He works hard to repair the damage he
caused. He also confronts the other heroes on the messes they left. He
actually cleans up their messes.
We get a new interesting character (Mel) in The Rising of the Shield
Hero 4. What makes Mel so interesting is she is a royal in disguise that
loves Filolials. She befriends Filo very quickly and promises the Shield
Hero a reward if he delivers her to her father. She is a princess so
that means the king of that country is the one who will need to give the
Shield Hero his reward. Naofumi does not take hidden information from
royals very well.
The issues in The Rising of the Shield Hero 4 are blood and bad
language. We go through a wave where we find out three of the heroes
have no strategy and do not work together to stop the boss. Naofumi must
step in to save the day since a village is in danger. The monsters keep
coming until that boss is dispensed with. The Rising of the Shield Hero
4 ends with a bit of a cliffhanger as well.
We learn a bit more about this fantasy world in The Rising of the Shield
Hero 4. We find out the older princess will not reign because of certain
character flaws she has. We also learn the younger sister Mel can
override her. The Spear Hero wanted to have a battle in town that could
have harmed a great many citizens. The Shield Hero points this out and
it takes Mel to stop the duel.
Naofumi is starting to show his leadership skills in The Rising of the
Shield Hero 4. His wise merchant skills are suiting him well even though
he has a bad image across the country. He learned there are other
countries he can go to. Which is what he will need to do to class up his
party. Soldiers join Naofumi as well. I have really been enjoying this
series. I have reached the end of what Peter had for this series.
