The Sisters Party of the Year
SCORE: 88
I am very thankful Microids sent Family
Friendly Gaming a digital download code of The Sisters Party of the Year
on the Nintendo Switch. The Sisters Party of the Year can also be found
on the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Sisters Party of
the Year is a party game compilation with a story to it. The Sisters
Party of the Year can be played in Adventure, Challenges, Tournament,
All or Nothing, and Around the World. There are options available to
families as well.
The Sisters Party of the Year looks decent and has a very distinctive
look to it. This family has some quirks and issues. The two sisters
Wendy and Maureen are typical sisters that do not get along well. Wendy
wants to throw an end of the year party. Her younger sister Maureen
overhears the idea and goes to their father first. So they must compete
in mini games to determine who gets to organize the party. It is an
interesting idea that feels pretty realistic. The father's reactions in
The Sisters Party of the Year are classic.
There are twenty-four mini games in The Sisters Party of the Year. We go
around the house trying to find the mini games and other things to
interact with. The retro side scrolling video game found in The Sisters
Party of the Year is really cool. It is also a great way to earn coins.
The house is done in 3D and we can easily look around. Objects will have
something on them if we can interact with them.
The music and voice acting in The Sisters Party of the Year are so much
fun. I love the reactions to the music when we go over to the device
that is playing the music. These little touches in The Sisters Party of
the Year really stand out. The sisters in The Sisters Party of the Year
are very competitive with one another. If you fail at a mini game you
can try again. Be sure to read the directions. I misread one time and
did the opposite and wound up losing the first time.
Girls will get more out of The Sisters Party of the Year than boys in my
opinion. The mini games and storyline is something more girls would
relate to. Boy would just work together on having a party that fit both
of them. I had some fun playing The Sisters Party of the Year. I like
how the house is setup, and finding objects to interact with. I hope to
see more games like The Sisters Party of the Year in the future.
