The Wheel of Time Season One

First and foremost I have read many of the Robert Jordan books that the The Wheel of Time Season One is based off of. In typical Holly Weird fashion almost everything has to be redefined. It is like Holly Weird nowadays has to tick certain boxes. Redefine the story, cast in a racial diverse way, and include some sexual deviancy. The Wheel of Time Season One on Amazon Prime does that. What The Wheel of Time Season One does do not do is stay true to the source material.

I am absolutely baffled at how extremely important portions of the books are ignored in The Wheel of Time Season One. SPOILER ALERT! Rand cleanses the magical source in the books. In The Wheel of Time Season One he barely channels. The sexism against men from the women is really hammered home in The Wheel of Time Season One. The books even exposed how men and women need one another and worked together.

The issues families will have with The Wheel of Time Season One are magic, blood, gore, violence, bad language, lack of attire, nudity, enticement to lust, gambling, spirits, sex outside of marriage, sexual deviancy, reincarnation, and more. The Wheel of Time Season One cannot even stay true to who certain characters are. The rolling of the dice in Matt's head for example.

There are plenty of beautiful locations in The Wheel of Time Season One. Tar Varlon looks amazing. The power of the Aes Sedai is definitely abused within The Wheel of Time Season One. The White Cloaks are on a mission to root out the Darkfiends in the books. They are shown as evil in The Wheel of Time Season One. The casting choices in The Wheel of Time Season One are questionable at best. Rand is the only one that really fits for me.

The best part about The Wheel of Time Season One is it is only eight episodes long. When The Wheel of Time Season One says it is based off of the books I add loosely. I have chatted with others that have read the books the they all despise The Wheel of Time Season One. Sadly the damage has been done and I do not see any future seasons fixing the problems created in The Wheel of Time Season One.
