Tomorrow Never Dies
SCORE: 62
I am continuing my exploration of 007 with
The Pierce Brosnan Collection with Tomorrow Never Dies. This DVD may
have been interesting back in the day. As I look back on it in 2021 I
noticed the super villain is not much of anything. The whole media mogul
creating an international incident to be cutting edge of the news just
does not seem that menacing to me.
I wonder if Tomorrow Never Dies is an attack on conservative media like
Fox News. I am not sure one way or the other. Fox news started in 1996
and Tomorrow Never Dies came out in 1997. Is that a coincidence? Is
Holly Weird going after anything that is not radicalized on the far
left? You can make your own determination on that. I like to pose the
questions and let people think for themselves. That is a major
difference betweem FFG and the radical far left media outlets.
There are some cool gadgets in Tomorrow Never Dies. I like how he can
remote control drive the car in Tomorrow Never Dies. His phone doubles
for quite a few different things. How did that pack all of that into
such a small device? The car talking to James Bond is absolutely
obnoxious in my opinion. I would get so annoyed if a car talked to me
like that.
The issues families can have with Tomorrow Never Dies are violence,
blood, nudity, lack of attire, enticement to lust, sex outside of
marriage, and more. There are plenty of action adventure scenes in
Tomorrow Never Dies. The stealth boat is a very interesting concept in
Tomorrow Never Dies. A very good friend of James Bond dies in Tomorrow
Never Dies. Her motives make little to no sense to me at all. Why betray
her husband?
The Chinese agent is an interesting character in Tomorrow Never Dies.
She wants to go it alone at first and eventually realized that Bond is a
good asset to have around her in Tomorrow Never Dies. Their team work is
pretty cool to see in Tomorrow Never Dies. The British military looks
like buffoons in Tomorrow Never Dies compared to the spy agency. Holly
Weird hates the military so that is nothing new.
