Trenga Unlimited
SCORE: 88
I have written numerous times I never know
what to expect when I open my emails. There are thank you emails,
interest in sponsorships, advertisements, press releases, requests to
send us a product and codes. Trenga Unlimited is one of those games we
were sent the code for the Xbox One. We actually used it on the Xbox
Series X. I will admit it is getting more difficult to just play a game
since there are so many games we stream, are paid to spend our time and
resources on. I eventually found some time for Trenga Unlimited. This
game would make an amazing sponsored stream some day.
Trenga Unlimited is a mixture between Tetris and Blockout. We have a
four sided rectangle that is missing pieces. We must fill the holes with
the pieces available to us. As we take our time finding the holes our
oxygen slowly depletes. We can fill holes with the wrong pieces and some
of them are dropped off. The downside to this strategy is we also lose
some oxygen when we do that. I would enact that strategy right at the
end during certain levels.
While we play Trenga Unlimited we unlock buddies. These buddies grant us
better abilities. Like 15% more oxygen for example. This can be the
difference between winning and losing a level in Trenga Unlimited. Yes
you can lose in Trenga Unlimited. I found that is possible. I got all
kinds of achievements while I was playing Trenga Unlimited on the Xbox
Series X. The issue is the notification blocked which buttons to press
for the pieces. I either lost time or guessed the wrong button.
The graphics in Trenga Unlimited are bright and colorful. The animation
and art is okay at best. The animation leaves a lot to be desired making
Trenga Unlimited look like an app. Would it surprise you to know there
is a Trenga app? It did not surprise me. Trenga Unlimited can be played
in solo mode, survival mode, versus local, and there are option
settings. There are three goals players can achieve in each of the
levels in Trenga Unlimited.
I had fun playing Trenga Unlimited. This can be a very addictive video
game. The oxygen dropping is the most stressful thing in Trenga
Unlimited. Constantly swapping sides of the objects to find the right
hole to fit one of the pieces added to the stress for me. From what I
played I did not find anything offensive in Trenga Unlimited. I found no
information on a phsyical copy version of Trenga Unlimited in the United
States.
