Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for Big Bang Pro Wrestling on the Nintendo Switch. Big
Bang Pro Wrestling was originally on the Neo Geo Pocket. I purchased
that system when it was being discontinued. I got whatever games I could
at the time. Big Bang Pro Wrestling was not one of those games I
purchased and played back in the day. Which is kind of a shame since I
was always into professional wrestling video games.
Big Bang Pro Wrestling is hard. Even on the easiest setting. I lost
again and again when I played Big Bang Pro Wrestling. The controls can
be a bit touchy when it comes to doing things like pinning. I also had
issues winning the tie ups. I went back to the included manual again and
again to learn and re-learn the moves. There is a lot that can be done
in Big Bang Pro Wrestling with just a couple of buttons. Be aware of the
swapping of A and B buttons between the original system and the Nintendo
Switch (this can be re-mapped).
Big Bang Pro Wrestling comes with eight wrestlers right from the start.
There are two additional wrestlers that can be unlocked within Big Bang
Pro Wrestling. Families can play Big Bang Pro Wrestling in One Match,
Tournament, IEW Champion, VS Match and Options. The ring can be set for
IEW or for SNK. We can adjust time, rules, court, level, ring type, and
ring color in Big Bang Pro Wrestling.
The game looks okay graphically for its time. Big Bang Pro Wrestling
sounds pretty good as we are struggling to win matches. The screen in
Big Bang Pro Wrestling is a bit on the small side. The cool thing is we
can zoom in to see the game play screen better. I really liked that
feature in Big Bang Pro Wrestling. In terms of overall memory usage Big
Bang Pro Wrestling is 145 megs. Which seems really small in this day and
age.
There are finishing moves within Big Bang Pro Wrestling if you fulfill
the right conditions. I rarely was able to figure that out. The AI in
Big Bang Pro Wrestling is extremely good at getting out of your way when
you are attacking them. The difficulty on easy should have been easy.
For me this is the biggest issue and problem with Big Bang Pro
Wrestling. I should be able to win an easy match.
