Bugsnax

Bugsnax is one of those video games we saw while we have been doing all of those FFG Reacts live streams. It was also one of those games I really did not want to pay for since we initially heard it was only a disposable video game as a digital download. I have since done research and found there are physical copies of Bugsnax for sale. I may need to order one from the UK, but we could still get one at some point in the future.

There are these creatures in Bugsnax that are part bug and part snack. So a strawberry spider like thing and more. There are day and night cycles within Bugsnax. Certain things happen at certain times. Certain Bugsnax are only out and about at certain times as well. We need to do all these different things to catch the Bugsnax as well. How we must catch them gets more and more obnoxious as the game goes along.

There is a storyline in Bugsnax. We learn more about it as we convince these different muppet monster looking characters back to the town. I did some live streams of Bugsnax and was shocked at some highly controversial and very divisive content that was shoved into this game. Bugsnax encourages direct rebellion against God. Sexual deviancy is encouraged in Bugsnax. What makes this so shocking is Bugsnax is supposed to be for kids. Would you approve of that message being put in Sesame Street? There was a huge uproar when that happened.

Bugsnax is shown in the first person perspective. We acquire more and more tools while playing this game. As we feed the muppet monster looking characters certain parts of their bodies transform into the Bugsnax we feed them. This a bit on the creepy side. They stay that way through the game too. Bugsnax includes violence, blood, gross things, attacks on marriage, and more.

Bugsnax had such potential that it bums me out that open rebellion against God was promoted. Are they trying to get all of us struck down by God's wrath? Why put that into a kids game? Are they trying to brainwash kids into their rebellion? I got tired of having to figure out how to catch this Bugsnax, and that Bugsnax. It would have been nice if Bugsnax would have included easier ways to catch some of them.

For me Bugsnax is one of the biggest let downs. I stopped streaming it after the offensive and highly controversial content was discovered. I made sure to not draw attention to it while playing Bugsnax. Angry psycho haters from the evil vile and wicked cancel culture would attack us while claiming they celebrate diversity. They will probably will attack us anyway. They have come after us before for staying obedient to God.
