G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures #1
SCORE: 78
Peter, Noah, Princess and myself were out
recently doing some shopping. We needed to get certain things and had
cut out doing videos that Saturday morning. After our last store Peter
mentioned that 901 Comics store we had been meaning to check out for
months. We had time and it was only a little bit out of our way so I
decided we would check it out right then and there. I am glad we did. I
found G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures #1 and
decided to purchase it.
I know from my past that any number one issue of a comic has the
potential to be worth some money in the future. That was another reason
I was interested in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning
Adventures #1. I know that comic books have had a hard time of it in
recent years. The Internet, and radical far left preaching have turned a
lot of people away from comic books. Some of us still check them out
from time to time. I wanted to do some comic book reviews at some point
in the future. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures
#1 is the perfect opportunity to start.
The artwork in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures
#1 is decent. I enjoyed all of the colors in the G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures #1. There are some well known
and great characters within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday
Morning Adventures #1. The humor on the Cobra side is fantastic to read.
G.I. Joe reminds me of my time in the military. I like to have more fun
than I was allowed to then if you know what I mean.
The biggest disappointment to me is the length of G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures #1. There are nineteen pages
of the story. Then we get one page with a service message about not
trashing others online for having differing opinions. Then we get
alternative front covers and advertisements for other comic books. The
suggested price for G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning
Adventures #1 is $3.99. I have not gotten comics in some time but I
remember them being under one dollar.
Cobra Commander has Zartan and the Dreadnocks steal an ugly statue for
him. Cobra Commander destroys the statue to reveal Aladdin’s Lamp. A
Genie grants Cobra Commander three wishes. Cobra Commander (at Destro’s
prompting) decides to have his BATs (Battle Android Troops) to be super
sized. This is Cobra Commander’s new plan to take over the world. The
storyline does not end in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning
Adventures #1. There are additional issues that will tell more of this
story.
All in all I enjoyed G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning
Adventures #1. I feel it is a bit on the overpriced side personally. The
art is good, and the humor helps this be fun. I will continue this
series for at least another issue or two. I was unable to find a rating
in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Saturday Morning Adventures #1. There
is some violence with explosions and military vehicles shooting.
