G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294
SCORE: 71
I just finished reading through the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
#294 comic book. This issue is the fourth part of the High Stakes story
arc. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294 picks up right where the last
issue ended. The two Joes in the small corridor are facing off against a
Revanche BAT. It is interesting that the BATs now look human and are
females. In fact the servants in the Cobra casino are actually BATs. I
found that to be a bit odd. How are they smart enough to do that? The
BATs have armor on their faces that they can move to target their
enemies. Seems like a bit of a design flaw there. There will be spoilers
in this review.
The issues families will have with G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294
are violence, lack of attire, and more. One of the BATs gets it head
blown off. Another one gets its arm severed. Snake Eyes cuts other BATS
in half in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294 as well. The good news is
there is no blood or gore on humans. Robots are the only thing that wind
up getting sliced and diced in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294. We
finally see Serpentor in a tube in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294.
Genghis Khan is taking over and Dr Mindbender thinks one dominate
personality may be a better solution.
There is one aspect of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294 that really
confuses me. There are multiple fire arms discharged in G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #294. No one notices this at all in G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero #294. How is that possible? I have been public places and
a gun going off will draw attention. Dr Mindbender does discover some
BATs that are destroyed and realizes someone else is controlling them.
Dr Mindbender also sees Snake Eyes on camera. He wants the female
Crimson Guardsman to capture Snake Eyes again. I was not aware of the
first time he was captured.
The artwork continues to be good in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294.
There are twenty pages of content, next months cover, and some
advertisements within G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294. We get to see
a Techno-Viper in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294. Rock & Roll is
also within the pages of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294. It is neat
to see more characters. I like seeing more different characters since
there are so many in this franchise. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294
includes plenty of action - most of it from ninjas.
All in all I liked where G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294 is going. I
suspect there will be more action in the next issue. I also wonder when
Serpentor will emerge. What will he be like in this version? The more I
read the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero comic books the more nostalgia I
get from the past stories that were in Marvel comics. I may need to go
back to them at some point in the future. For now I will be thankful I
had enough money to purchase G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #294.
